By downloading or using MeroAlpha you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What MeroAlpha is

MeroAlpha is a macOS app in which an AI agent researches the Nepal stock market and runs a paper account in virtual NPR. It places no real orders, holds no money and connects to no broker, TMS or demat account. Paper fills are a simulation built from observed trade prints; real orders can fill at other prices, or not at all.

Not investment advice

Everything MeroAlpha shows, including answers, plans, odds, report cards and paper results, is general information produced by software. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

  • MeroAlpha and its makers are not licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) as an investment adviser, portfolio manager or broker.
  • AI agents make mistakes, and data can be late, incomplete or wrong. Past paper results do not predict future returns.
  • Any real investment decision is yours. Speak to a licensed professional first.

Your AI agent

You connect an agent you install and sign in to yourself, such as Claude or Codex. Your agreement with its provider, including its fees, usage limits and policies, applies to that use. We do not control what the agent writes.

Market data and other sites

The agent reads public pages from NEPSE, ShareSansar, MeroLagani, news sites and the open web. MeroAlpha is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, their names belong to their owners, and their own terms apply to their content.

  • Pages and prices the agent captures stay on your Mac for your own use.
  • Do not use MeroAlpha to republish, sell or redistribute another site’s data.
  • Do not use it to get past a login, paywall, CAPTCHA, rate limit or a site’s rules for automated access.

The shared insight store

Signing in is optional. When you do, the findings, checks and graded paper calls your agent shares become visible to other signed-in users, and you let them use those for their own research in MeroAlpha. Shared rows cannot be edited later. The privacy policy lists exactly what is shared.

We may remove shared rows or close an account that floods, games or misuses the store.

Fair use

  • Do not use MeroAlpha to break the law, including Nepal’s securities and electronic transactions laws.
  • Do not use it to spread false market information or to manipulate prices.
  • Do not attack, overload or try to read other users’ private data in the shared store.

No warranty

MeroAlpha is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted service. The app must be running to act on a plan; missed sessions are not backfilled.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, the makers of MeroAlpha are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including trading or investment losses, lost data, or decisions made on its output. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and using MeroAlpha after a change means you accept it. You may stop using MeroAlpha at any time by deleting the app and its data folder.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction to be confirmed.
